75% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina Sparkle

400m per 100g/200m per 50gr/ 80m in 20gr

Recommended knitting needles: 2.5mm

Gauge: 31 v & 46 r

2. BFL Platinum socks

Fibre content:
75% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool
25% Nylon

425m per 100gr/ 212,5m per 50gr/ 85m per 20gr

Needle size: 2.5mm
Gauge: 32 sts & 44 rows

This is probably our strongest sock yarn. Bluefaced Leicester is a really robust fibre with a long staple length. This yarn has a toothy texture and makes great socks. We’ve heard of customers wearing their socks for years! For a super-tight gauge, knit on 2.25mm needles, and for a slightly lighter fabric, use 2.5mm needles.

Care instructions: Machine washable on a wool cycle.
